European Floor and Bar Champion to Visit Swallows

Britain’s most successful gymnast will make her first appearance as European champion in Helston on 12th April 2009.

Beth Tweddle, who on Monday 6th April 2009 returned from the European Championships with two gold medals for floor and bars, will visit members of Swallows Gymnastics Club this Easter Sunday.

Beth also competed at the Beijing Olympics and narrowly missed a bronze medal by a fraction of a point.

On Sunday Beth will give a short talk before the Swallows’ gymnastic and dance display team will perform.

This will be followed with groups of gymnasts taking to the floor to train.
